Comment Storm

The comment section under a launch everyone is waiting for, burying the frame.

Get Comment Storm with Proor get Manifesto free48 Pro components · $129 a year or $249 once

How it moves

One question types itself into a pill; then the replies pile in — pills tossed in with an overshoot and a tilt, cards that open downward and type their own lines — faster and faster while the camera pulls back the whole time, starts to shake, and folds the pile into its centre before a cut to black. Every arrival, its position, its entrance and how fast it types is replayed from a screen recording measured frame by frame; nothing is random. Ships asking when snapcn Pro drops — pass comments for your own crowd.

Installation

pnpm
$ pnpm dlx shadcn@latest add @snapcn/comment-storm

Needs an existing Remotion project and a components.json. Two-minute setup if this is your first snapcn component.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add Comment Storm to a Remotion project?

Comment Storm is part of snapcn Pro, and installs with the same shadcn CLI as every free component: npx shadcn@latest add @snapcn/comment-storm. The source is copied into your project and is yours to edit — there is no runtime package to keep installed.

What is Comment Storm?

Comment Storm is a Remotion social proof animation for React. The comment section under a launch everyone is waiting for, burying the frame.

Is Comment Storm free?

No. It is one of 48 Pro components, sold together: $129 a year for the whole catalogue and everything that ships while your year runs, or $249 once to own it outright. The other 41 snapcn components are free and MIT.

More in this category

  • Channel ThreadA work chat filling itself in — faces, a name in bold, a quiet timestamp and messages as plain lines on a dark stage; three dots hold a line until the words arrive, and the transcript scrolls once per arrival and is perfectly still in between
  • Chat ThreadA chat thread sending itself — the moment a demo video actually gets shared.
  • Follower RushAn X-style follower notification that piles up — avatars stack in and the count explodes, then the row bends into an undulating wave of faces
  • Thank You SwarmA notification row of supporters that tears off under its own motion blur and comes back as a wall of them.
