Picker Commit

A picker wheel that flings, settles on one row, and commits it into a button.

How it moves

A cylinder of glass rows spins past a night backdrop and coasts to a stop with one row on the axis; that row's glass fills to ink; a white circle opens out of it and takes the frame — the rest of the wheel stays legible through it, because what changed is the ground and not the rows; and the row left standing shrinks into a call to action, its own label pushed out sideways by the new one. The pill is never re-created, which is the only reason the commit reads as one gesture. Wheel spacing, scale, fade and every beat are measured tables, and the list wraps so the fling never runs out of rows.

Installation

pnpm
$ pnpm dlx shadcn@latest add @snapcn/picker-commit

Needs an existing Remotion project and a components.json. Two-minute setup if this is your first snapcn component.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add Picker Commit to a Remotion project?

Picker Commit is part of snapcn Pro, and installs with the same shadcn CLI as every free component: npx shadcn@latest add @snapcn/picker-commit. The source is copied into your project and is yours to edit — there is no runtime package to keep installed.

What is Picker Commit?

Picker Commit is a Remotion product demo animation for React. A picker wheel that flings, settles on one row, and commits it into a button.

Is Picker Commit free?

No. It is one of 48 Pro components, sold together: $129 a year for the whole catalogue and everything that ships while your year runs, or $249 once to own it outright. The other 41 snapcn components are free and MIT.
